    U13 Grand Plains Hawks Tournament Rules

• Be prepared 10 minutes before game time as games may start early

• 5-minute warm-ups.

• 2 - 15 and 1 - 20-minute period

• Stop time

• Run time will occur in a 6-goal differential after the 2nd period

• 1 - 30-second time-out per game per team

• 3 Points a Win, 1 Point each for a tie, 0 points for a loss

• Round Robin Tie breaker will be goals for minus goals against

• Only for Final Games. Over time will consist of 5 5-minute sudden death 3 vs 3 Player Shootout (if tied after OT). If still tied after 3 vs 3, a 1 vs 1 shootout will occur. Every player must shoot before a player can shoot again.

• All calls and decisions made by the referee are final.

• Any abuse of the officials by the coaches, players, parents, or fans will not be tolerated and may result in team disqualification.

• Ice will be flooded every two Periods.

• The championship game will flood before the game and between the 2nd and 3rd period.

• There will be player award after each game, coaches please have your team line up.

• Coaches will pick the player of the game for the other team.

• Hockey Manitoba rules are in effect.
